Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Tailor is operated by Tailor (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data we collect, why we do, and your rights around it. We keep it simple - we collect as little data as possible and never sell it.
Your account
When you make an account, we store your email address. We use it to sign you in and keep your or your team’s saved work tied to you. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the app is used (pages visited, time on site, location by country). Data is anonymized and aggregated - we cannot identify you individually. The legal basis is legitimate interest.
When you’re signed in, we also keep a log of your activity (tools used, QR codes generated and exported) tied to your account, so we can see how Tailor is used, improve user experience and decide which features to develop next. The legal basis is the same - improving the app for you.
License
If you buy a license, the payments go through Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We keep track of your license details (type, date of purchase, email used to buy it) so we know what you have access to. Stripe’s own privacy policy covers your payment data.
Third-party processors
We use these services that may process personal data on our behalf:- Cloudflare - for analytics, hosting and image storage
- Cloudflare Email Service - for sending transactional emails
- Stripe - for payments
None of these services are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
Cookies
Only ours - we use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and it clears when you log out. No cookies are used for advertising or tracking you.
How long we keep your data
- Account and QR code data - kept until you delete your account (individual license) or team (team license)
- Usage analytics - while you have an account, we keep a log of your activity. If you delete your account, that log is unlinked from you, so it cannot be traced back to you.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to withdraw consent.
You can request to delete your account or team any time. Because it is directly tied to the license, you cannot do this via the app. Deleting an account or team removes your QR codes, team accounts, and unlinks your activity so it’s not tied to you.
To exercise any of these rights, email at [email address].
If you have concerns about how we handle your data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. Anything significant gets noted with an updated date at the top of this page.
